Everyone should know by now that America Online® provides each of its faithful members 10 megabytes of Internet Web Space. This space is split between 5 of your screen names and is fully functional!  There are existing limits however, for instance you cannot point a domain name at your AOL Webspace. What I mean is, if you buy the domain 'www.you.com' you will not be able to direct that to your website hosted with America Online. This may seem like a downside but it really isn't. AOL® is the number one searched directory out there, and it will always list its members before general Internet websites!

MISCONCEPTIONS

I have found that most people believe that if you use a free service, then you won't have a product that is also good. Well, while AOL has its restrictions about usage, there are many wonderful benefits to utilizing what your already have and what you already pay for.  This is an excellent option for businesses that are just starting out.

IS IT REALLY FREE?

As we all know, nothing is really free, however sometimes, it can feel like its free.

We all pay for monthly Internet access but did you know that often, your ISP provides you with a limited amount of Internet space, that you can use for your business or your own personal use.

Did you also know that most business owners pay an additional amount for simple monthly website hosting, when they really don't have to? A wise business owner should check out all possibilities for advertising, and should exhaust all existing avenues for promotion.
